INTRODUCTION
Some people are so addictive to the adrenaline of stress that they have absolutely no clue how it feels to be relaxed! They are always on the move, trying to get things done no matter how accomplished they are with their work or tasks! Undisputed! Things have to be done BUT your mind and body, in entirety need to relax from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life of family responsibilities and work deadlines.

The state of relaxation is the psychological point where tension is unrecognizable; where there’s an absence of any form of emotional arousal such as anger, happiness, fear etc. Just total ease.

Here are some super cool tips of how you can relax without spending at all!


SLEEP
Key to relaxing is having enough sleep. How do we have enough sleep? Go to bed early, it’s that simple. Your sleep cannot be replaced by whatever you find yourself doing. Take a two-minute nap at work if you have to, just to revamp. The body relaxes best with sleep.


STOP OVER ANALYSING
There are some things you have under your control but you most definitely cannot control everything around you. Some things just have to be the way they are. Put a break on analyzing everything especially when it’s not in your power to control. Over analyzing has a way of working your mind to stress! Relax!


EXERCISE
Do some physical exercises as well. Emphasis is placed on continues physical (exercising) activity to help take your mind off whatever load you carry. It could be as simple as skipping or jogging. Yoga exercises are equally helpful. They involve both meditative and physical exercises which brings you to a state of ease.


EAT WELL
Yes! Eat well. Get your tummy filled up for your tasks. Working on an empty stomach or not eating too well finds its way to an unstable and un-relaxed mind and body, which can have an effect on what you do.


DO A LOT OF TALKING
The first thing to note about talking, is the kind of people you talk to. Nevertheless, talk to someone you can trust. Talk about things that bother you; talk about things that will take your mind off your problems; talk in small care groups if there’s any around you. Talking keeps you off some burdens. Talk to a counselor if you have find it necessary. You are no lone ranger, you need people you can and must talk to.


DO SOMETHING NEW OR WHAT YOU LOVE BEST
Relaxation can take a form of being fidgety with something. They range from petting animals, to learning new things like; making beads, weaving, knitting, playing either indoor or outdoor games or sticking to your hobby.


TAKE A WARM BATH
Bathing is a therapy on its own. Stay in the shower as long as you can after a long days’ work or when stress/anxiety steps in.


LISTEN TO SOOTHING MUSIC
Listening to good soothing music (slow, quiet, classical preferably) calms the nerves. It engulfs our attention hence repulsing all forms of induced stress or anxiety.   


TAKE A WALK ON THE SEA SHORE
It’s probably the next best choice after having a nice cozy sleep. Here, you can walk quietly, meditate, shout, play a game, chat with a friend, have some good food and feel the nice breeze blow over you.


When you think you can figure out everything all at once, anxiety sets in, and that’s the remedy to an unrelaxed state. Always remember you can seek for external help from experts.

Breathe! Take it a day at a time. RELAX!
